The Colors of Summer Taste

The Colors of Summer Taste

To really know someone, I believe you must understand what brings them joy in the simplest moments. For me, it is always about the senses. I am usually sharing fashion archives or interior curation, but today I want to bring you a little closer to my daily life through something different. My taste preferences are very specific, and they always connect back to a certain feeling.

A Scent and a Memory

There is a particular aroma that defines these warm months for me. It is the sweet, rich scent of fresh fruit sitting on a travertine table while the morning sun warms the room. For me, this profumo is a pure memory. It takes me back to childhood afternoons by the sea in Puglia, when life was just about the salt on my skin and the sweet juice on my fingers. It is amazing how a simple scent can bring back a whole summer.

My Absolute Favorites

If you look at my recent moodboards, you will see a lot of deep, vibrant tones. I absolute adore eating red fruits right now. There is something so elegant about their saturation, they look like little jewels.

Strawberries and cherries are my current obsession. I love the briliant red color they add to a clean, white linen setting. Eating cherries feels like a small, slow ritual. You pick them by the stem, they are cold and crisp, and they taste like pure luxury. Strawberries are perfect in the afternoon, especially when washed in ice water and served in a vintage silver bowl. They are beautiful to look at, and even better to enjoy while reading. 🍒

Your Summer Flavor

I love creating this space where we can share the aesthetics of living well and appreciate the small details. Tell me, what fruit do you like to enjoy the most during these warm days? Let me know your favorites. ✨
